TCI was formed in 1983 by President/Owner Ken Shewbridge and has grown at a steady pace to become Tidewater's largest independent business telephone company. Today, TCI supports thousands of customers large and small in all aspects of their communication needs throughout the southeast Virginia region.
TCI is proud to have represented the same manufacturer, NEC, since our beginning. This relationship has established us as the leading distributor of NEC business telephone systems in the nation.
